Walter
Fields was born in 1942; studied at the
University of Wisconsin, taught
at the National Academy of Fine Arts in New
York and is presently Director
of the Jacklight Gallery in New York City.
In
2006, he received the Ingles Griswold Nelson
Prize for Painting awarded
by the National Academy of Fine Arts.
